Tucked in our small neighborhood is a vibrant hub for connection, culture, and food access: the Midtown Farmers Market. Corcoran’s longest running program, our farmers market has nurtured belonging and community to many across South Minneapolis for the past 23 years.
To deepen and sustain the impact of Midtown Farmers Market, Corcoran needs you. We are a community-driven farmers market, meaning we depend on our neighbors, just like you, to volunteer in helping us make magic happen every Saturday.
The tents don’t go up by themselves. The trash in the plaza doesn’t disappear with the snap of a finger. The snacks and water don’t get refilled out of thin air. The market is a safe, joyful, and connective place to be because of the work and spirit of our staff and volunteers who make it that way.
Under our current political climate, our market aims to be a haven for respite, safety, and joy. We need you in this fight because we care about protecting and sustaining these special community spaces for years to come. Your impact as a volunteer would be invaluable to this endeavor.
